Capstone Project: Willow – Kids On Top

Willow has attended Colvig Silver Camps as a JACF camper for 3 years.  Willow is 15 years old and lives in Stowe, VT. Willow worked with “Kids On Top” – a charity based out of her hometown which works in close conjunction with the Pediatric Oncology Department at The University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington. It enables children being treated for cancer and other serious childhood diseases, and their siblings, the chance to be in the mountains rock climbing, hiking, swimming, alpine skiing, snowboarding, XC skiing, and other similar events throughout the Autumn, Winter and Spring seasons. KOT also gives the parents an opportunity to take a break, to relax, and to recharge by spending these days outside hiking, cross-country skiing, skiing, or working out and enjoying the mountain spas while our coaches are with their children.

Out of privacy concerns for the children and their families that Willow worked with, we have chosen not to publish Willow’s final project presentation.
