The John Austin Cheley Foundation is now known as A Thousand Summers and we continue to change kids’ lives through transformative summer camp experiences.
We have created an Alumni Program and want YOU to be a part of it.

Volunteer Opportunities: Join the Alumni Board to plan and facilitate opportunities for JACF / ATS alumni. Or volunteer in Zoom workshops with 4th-8th grade campers with our Compass Program. Just fill out the form below and mention you are interested in the Alumni Board or the Compass Program in the Message box.
Camp Fellowship Program: ATS Alumni can work at camp where they will develop leadership skills and support ATS campers. In return, ATS will offer a stipend in addition to the pay that the camp will provide.
Partner Camps: We now partner with more camps across the country. Check out our Partner Camps to see how we’ve grown!
Compass Program: This new program supports our 4th-8th grade campers in their preparation for camp by exploring purpose, belonging, and relationship building.
